The Situation

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Loyola Medicine had to communicate clearly, consistently, and with empathy, all while information, guidelines, and patient needs were changing almost daily.

The hospital system was managing a living communication environment that included:

  • New digital tools for patients

  • Critical public health guidance

  • Ongoing updates as conditions evolved

Working closely with Loyola Medicine’s internal marketing and communications teams, Creovi team members developed a flexible animation system that could support a wide range of messages without breaking brand continuity.

Rather than treating each video as a one-off, we designed a clear, repeatable visual language — motion style, typography, pacing, and tone — that could be applied across initiatives as new needs emerged.

This allowed Loyola Medicine to:

From launching online scheduling to sharing COVID-19 safety guidance to communicating reopening plans, the same system powered every message by keeping output high and confusion low.
