The Situation
World Play Day is a global moment for LEGO Education — a fixed-date initiative designed to celebrate learning through play and reach educators, parents, and students around the world.
The strategy was clear. The story was strong. The launch date was immovable.
What LEGO needed was execution: a complete, high-quality video system that could be created, produced, and delivered on time — without overloading their internal team or slowing down decision-making.
With multiple stakeholders, locations, and deliverables in play, LEGO needed more than a production vendor. They needed a partner who could plug directly into the team, move fast, and protect the brand at every step.
Our Approach
Creovi embedded directly with LEGO’s Creative Director, operating as an extension of his internal creative team. Instead of working through layers of handoffs and approvals, we aligned quickly on story, scope, and priorities. Then we moved immediately into execution.
In just weeks, we coordinated a multi-location production spanning four STEAM experts across the U.S. and Australia, capturing:
A primary shoot in Chicago at Creovi's Studio
A secondary shoot in Wisconsin featuring LEGO’s Head of World Education
Our focus was simple: remove friction, maintain momentum, and deliver a content system that could support both the campaign moment and ongoing brand use.
From hero films to channel-specific cutdowns, every asset was designed to stay true to LEGO’s voice while giving their team maximum flexibility across platforms.

LEGO Education launched World Play Day on schedule with a complete, cohesive library of video content ready for web, social, and global distribution.
